Parts in colors

Another look inside my kitchen of creation showing some elements (mainly the small feet) for the future BlonK ClocK. The parts just received the 3rd layer of varnish (out of 4 in total) and are drying here held in clamps. I can reveal that there will be six different clocks from very sober and minimalistic to colorful and cheerful to get you in a good mood when you read the time.
The names for colors sometimes make you dream about exotic destinations or precious materials. For example some of the painted elements in the picture carry names like Sahara Yellow or Cobalt Blue. The pigments used in paints are often created artificially or extracted from minerals, plants or animals. One day, if I find the time????, I should write an article about the origin of colors.
Other colors that I used are: Vermilion, Pyrrole Red, Green Turquoise and a very intense and deep black which I always buy from the same brand: Mars Black.
By the way my favorite colors are: Phtalo Blue and Purple.
The pictures do not show all the parts of the clock. In a previous article I already showed you the clockplate (almost finished now) and the basement plate which is drying out in the cellar.
My minimalistic artworks that I create may give the impression that they are easy to make. If you follow me closely you probably noticed that this is absolutely not the case. It takes a lot of time and patience but it is most of all a great pleasure to do.
The BlonK Clock will soon be ready for assembly and pictures of this final stage of creation will be on show here later.
