Video BlonK One-Man-Show

On 11/11/2020

It took some time to sort and edit all the images that I've shot during my last great solo exhibition in Haguenau, France in September 2020. The final video is a low budget video as I couldn't afford a professionnal video team to shoot. Some of the images shake a little too much, lightning isn't always perfect but I think it gives a good impression of the event that took place in a historical building offering an exhibition space of nearly 200 m² in the heart of the city. Besides the new video hereafter there are many others to view on my YouTube channel (search for Johannes BlonK Geometric Art Videos). Enjoy yourself!

Images of a successful solo exhibition

On 22/10/2020

BOMSIn September 2020 I held my third solo exhibition in the historic heart of Haguenau, 40 km North of Strasbourg in France. The city put at my disposal an exhibition space of 200 m² in a former chapel that was part of the city's hospital until 1983. The building dates from 1757 and is quite particular as it has, in the center, a circular opening to the upperfloors which made it possible for patients to assist to the service from above. On groundlevel it results in a perfect place to stall out my ecological inspired installation with the red ball "Fonte des Glaces".

More than 400 visitors came by to see the exhibition entitled "Entre Art & Architecture" despite the Coronavirus restrictions. There was a peferct marriage between my geometric artworks and this historic building. For those who weren't able to come, no need to cry, here is a small photo impression (you can zoom in by clicking on the pictures). I'm also mounting a small video that I will post on my YouTube channel later.
